Josie earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons, Convocation Medal, University Medal) from the University of Sydney, Australia in 1996 and her PhD in Zoology and Molecular Biology from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 1999. Her research interests include the prolactin receptor, novel models of breast cancer and increasing the lactation output of sows.
